Hi!My name is Vincent E.; I am a decolonial researcher. My main interests are russian colonialism, decolonial thought, environmental media and critical infrastructure studies.
I use they/them pronouns and mostly speak English and Russian.
I write, curate, teach, moderate, organise, dream, plot and, most importantly, make mistakes.
My current professional highlight is co-curating the conference Technologies of Colonialism and Solidarity alongside Mariia Shynkarenko and Svitlana Matviyenko. It took place on April 28 – 29 at IWM, Vienna.
I also co-develop a mutual learning platform, Plotting Institute.
From September 2025, I will be a PhD student at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
You can find some of my recent work in the Index.
You can email me if you would like my more formal CV, or if you would like to ask me something about my work.
I mostly post work and life updates on Instagram and try to gather things I find interesting on Are.na
I hope you have a great day
